Pacers visit Simon Cancer Center

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Some Pacers players put some big smiles on faces at IU Health Simon Cancer Center on Thursday.

Players CJ Miles, Lavoy Allen and Rodney Stuckey stopped by the hospital for a special visit during chemotherapy time.

For patients going through a difficult time, it was a bright spot in their day.

“Anytime you can get some local heros come by and say hello and wish you well, it’s such a big positive,” said Dr. Nasser Hanna with IU Health.

Hanna said the visit also encouraged the staff at the hospital.
