Pedestrian seriously hurt after being hit by vehicle on south side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle on the city’s south side Monday morning, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
It happened in the 7800 block of US 31 around 11:40 a.m. This is near East Stop 11 Road and Shelby Street.
According to IMPD, the striking vehicle stayed on scene. It’s unclear what led up to the collision.
No names have been released.
