Person flown to Indy hospital after Lebanon crash

LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) – Emergency personnel from multiple departments responded to a serious crash in Lebanon Thursday morning.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Mid Jamestown Road.

According to Boone County Sheriff’s Department officials, the crash involved one vehicle that hit a tree. The person in the vehicle needed to be extricated and later flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Their condition wasn’t immediately clear.

The Lebanon Police Department, Lebanon Fire Department, Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Center Township Fire Department and Boone County EMS were all on scene of the crash.

People were advised to avoid the area until at least 10:30 a.m.
