Person shot, in critical condition, after dispute over woman

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man was shot on the northeast side on Thursday morning.

Police were called to a Citgo gas station at Brookside and Rural Street around 9 a.m.

Police say the man was shot near 20th Street and Parker and driven to the gas station.

The dispute started between two men over a woman.

Police say the suspect went inside to get a gun then shot the victim two to four times in the groin.

He is currently listed in critical condition.

Police have suspect information, but it has not been released.
