Person shot, possibly in subdivision on northwest side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person who walked into a hospital with critical injuries Thursday afternoon may have been shot in a subdivision on the city’s northwest side.
The person shot was later listed as stable, and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department sent aggravated assault investigators to the 8000 block of Loveridge Drive. That’s in the Northpoint Village by Ryland Homes subdivision off North Michigan Road north of West 79th Street.
IMPD was first sent about 2:15 p.m. to St. Vincent Women’s Hospital on a report of a person shot. The hospital is about a mile east of the subdivision.
No additional information was immediately available from IMPD.
