INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each and every week, Patty Spitler shares a story about the four-legged and furry population.

While the host of Pet Pals TV normally has a story about cats and dogs, this time the story focuses on an animal just a tad bigger.

This week Patty talks with Stacey Sheley about her rescue for horses, Open Door Equine.

They talk about her rescue center, the kinds of abuse she normally sees with the animals, and the cost of caring for abused horses.

They also talk about a fundraiser the organization has coming up in November.
