Pet Pals TV: IndyHumane cancels foster care event over coronavirus concerns

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week Patty Spitler shares an interesting and informative story about our four-legged and furry friend population.

This time the host of Pet Pals TV stopped by Daybreak with some staff members from IndyHumane.

The “Puppy and Kitten Baby Shower” event at IndyHumane scheduled for Sunday was cancelled due to coronavirus concerns. The shower supports the foster care program at IndyHumane.

“We decided to postpone it until everything is calmed down and the CDC recommends that we go back,” said Sam Huiet, foster care assistant at IndyHumane.

“Our foster care program and all of our programs are still in need of support,” added Hayley Wolf, marketing manager of IndyHumane.
