Pilot spots stowaway on airplane wing while mid-air
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An instructor and a passenger flying in an ultra light airplane thought they were the only ones in the air.
Pilot Roman Jantot was flying over French Guiana in South America when he did a double-take to find a cat on the wing of the plane.
The cat is the flight school’s mascot.
Jantot missed the cat when doing the pre-flight check.
He told CNN it was a “whoops moment.”
Jantot said they are thinking about calling her Stowaway.
Commenters asked why the passenger didn’t reach out to the cat and get a hold of it.
CNN said their goal was to not freak out the cat while in the air. They didn’t want it to jump.
The cat stayed on the wing until they landed. She is OK.
