INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Teams made up of more than 100 people took turns pulling an airplane at the Republic Airways hanger Saturday.
Pulling the twin engine jet aircraft was all to raise money for the Indiana Children’s Wish Foundation.
The foundation works with hospitals all over Indiana to grant wishes to Hoosier children and their families.
More than $300,000 was raised. The money will grant 60 to 70 wishes, organizer Terry Hudson estimated.
This was the fifth year for the event.
Organizers say all of the money raised comes from Indiana and stays here for local children.
