Police: 2 arrested after bringing fentanyl to Indiana from Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — Two people have been arrested on several charges after allegedly bringing fentanyl across state lines into Indiana.

Investigators have arrested 27-year-old Ryan Redmon of Hope and 28-year-old Sasha Armitage of Columbus in the case.

Police said the two were traveling back from Cincinnati after picking up “several” grams of fentanyl. Police said the pair were headed back to Columbus when they were pulled over on early Wednesday morning.

Redmon faces charges for: 

  • Dealing in a narcotic drug
  • Possession of a narcotic drug
  • Possession of a legend drug injection device
  • Bartholomew County warrant (probation violation for dealing in heroin),
  • Trafficking with an inmate
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Armitage faces charges for:

  • Dealing in a narcotic drug
  • Possession of a narcotic drug
  • Possession of a legend drug injection device
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
