Police identify man killed in Shelby County shooting

SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — Shelby County authorities are investigating after a fatal shooting Saturday morning.

Shelby County Sheriff’s Department units were called to the 6000 block of East State Road 244 around 11 a.m. on report of a shooting.

First responders found 41-year-old Richard A Martin, from Lima, Ohio, face down in a driveway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police spoke with a 28-year-old man and 50-year-old man, both from Waldron, at the scene. Monday morning, the sheriff’s department said no one was in custody, as the investigation was still on-going.
