Police investigate death in Beech Grove

BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH) – According to Beech Grove Police, a woman was shot Wednesday morning in a home in  the 100 block of North Eighth Avenue.

When police arrived, they found 21-year-old Katelyn Ideman had been shot.

Crews transported Ideman to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, where police say she died from her injuries.

Police say there were other people in the home at the time of the shooting.

No arrests have been made in the case and police say they are continuing to investigate the incident.
