Police investigating death on Indy’s east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Detectives in Indianapolis are investigating the circumstances surrounding a person’s death on the city’s east side Monday night.
Officers were called to the 800 block of Belhaven Drive around 8:20 p.m. on the report of a person shot.
When police arrived they found an individual dead. A spokesperson with IMPD says the trauma is suspected to be a gunshot wound.
Police say preliminary information is leading them to believe the victim was shot and killed during an argument. Investigators haven’t released any information about a suspect.
