Police investigating overnight double shooting
FULTON COUNTY,Ind. (WISH) – According to Indiana State Police, a call came in just after 1 a.m. for a female who had been shot.
After arriving on scene, officers also discovered a man and a woman had been shot in the face.
The man was identified as Jeffery Greer, and the woman was identified as his wife, Melanie Greer. Police believe he shot his wife, and then himself.
They were alert and conscious as they were transported to a Fort Wayne hospital.
They were both listed in critical condition.
According to Indiana State Police, the shooting is thought to have stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Two young boys were in the home at the time. They are in the custody of the Department of Child Services.
However, authorities are continuing to investigate the situation.
