Police: Man driving shot, killed early Saturday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man was shot and killed Saturday morning on the near northeast side of Indianapolis, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police responded around 5 a.m. to a call of a person shot near 37th Street and Hillside Avenue.
Police arrived to find a person shot and killed.
According to police, the victim was driving behind the wheel at the time of the shooting.
After being shot, the vehicle proceeded to go into the side of a nearby building.
The shooting was not random, according to police. The victim and suspect likely knew each other.
No suspect information has been released.
