Columbus police say they received the report of the shootings around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
A police dispatcher confirmed that four people were found dead in the home’s basement. She says the person found injured outside the home was a 16-year-old girl who wasn’t believed to be seriously injured.
Sgt. David Sicilian of the homicide squad told The Columbus Dispatch that police feared the injured teen’s safety may be in danger with a suspect on the loose.
Police were obtaining a warrant to search the house and canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses.
