Police search for person possibly connected to break-ins
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis officers were looking for a person early Tuesday morning who may have been trying to break-in to homes and businesses on the southeast side, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
Around 2 a.m., someone called and reported a suspicious person. That caller said the person was trying to break in to homes and businesses in the Sherman Drive and Prospect Street area.
Officers did not find anyone and called off the search around 3:30 a.m.
A description of the person officers were looking for wasn’t immediately available.
