GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Greenwood are investigating after several cars had their front or back windows shattered.

According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners at the Daily Journal, residents in several neighborhoods reported vandalism during the weekend, including Clearbrook Lakes and subdivisions near Averitt and Stop 18 roads.

Police say that as many as 14 cars were part of the vandalism early Saturday morning. In the Woodfield subdivision two vehicles had busted car windows and in Barton Lake two more cars had their back windshields shattered.

One resident told the paper that this is usually a good neighborhood.

“It’s really too bad. This is a nice quiet neighborhood where people, neighbors watch out for each other,” Brandywine resident Kenneth Helton said. “For me, this is probably a $20 fix. But everyone else, they’re probably paying into the hundreds of dollars.”

On Thursday police had no suspects in the case.
