GREENCASTLE, Ind. (WISH) — “Folks, apparently we have a new problem in our peaceful community. Cow loitering!!!”
That was a message shared Wednesday night from the Putnam County sheriff on Facebook.
Deputies found “suspicious cows” hanging out at a gas station and blocking the lane to the car wash, the post said. “To top it all off, they didn’t even purchase anything. #Rude!!”
The sheriff summed it up as “Just another day in rural Indiana law enforcement.”
Messages in the post indicated the cows made it home safely.
