Rain and snow chances to continue with accumulating snow for Friday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a gloomy and chilly Wednesday with showers and windy conditions.
Wednesday night:
A Freeze Warning will be in effect from midnight tonight to 9 AM Thursday morning.

Clouds look to clear out overnight as we will have another cold night. As temperatures drop, frost will develop across the region. Lows will dip into the upper 20s.



Thursday:
Some clouds will build back in ahead of our next weather system that will bring chances for scattered rain showers through sunset. Rain will transition to light snow as minor snow accumulations are possible over far northern sections of central Indiana. Expect rain for areas along and south of I-70.


Highs top out in the upper 40s.


Friday:
We will have a messy start to your Friday as showers with snow to the north of I-70 are likely through the early afternoon hours. Minor snow accumulations remain possible in the northern counties Dry time looks to settle in to finish off the day and work week.

Highs will rise into the mid 40s.

8 Day Forecast:
A warm up is expected through the weekend with high temperatures rising into the mid 50s and low 60s. Rain chances return for Sunday and next Tuesday. High temperatures look to climb into the mid 60s through midweek with storm chances.
