Rain moves out and warmer temperatures move in

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Very soggy weekend with remnants of Gordon soaking most of central Indiana. Indianapolis accumulated just under a heft 5″ of rain. Patchy drizzle will stick with us for the morning commute and possibly through late morning causing damp roads. The Brickyard 400 will be chilly and a touch damp but should gradually dry out during the afternoon. Highs today a good 10° warmer with highs in the lower 70s. Monday night clouds will thin out and temperatures will drop throughout the overnight. expect to see a chilly one with lows in the lower to mid 50s. 

Indianapolis (WISH) 

Clouds and sun to start off the day on Tuesday with highs warming to the mid 70s with partly sunny skies. Quiet weather pattern settles in for the work week with lots of sunshine to be had with temperatures climbing throughout the week as well. Highs by mid week will climb near 80 with a better looking Zone forecast for Friday. Highs running about 5°above the normal high. 

Sunshine will continue through the weekend with highs in the lower 80s. A chance of a few storms during the afternoon Sunday. Remnants of Hurricane Florence could travel as far inland as Indiana giving us the chance of a few showers.
