River of molten chocolate blocks highway after tanker overturns
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (WCMH/CNN) — A chocoholic’s dream turned into a nightmare on an Arizona highway Monday.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety described the scene as a “river of chocolate” that would be a “sweet cleanup.”
Around 40,000 pounds of liquid chocolate spilled out after a truck transporting it overturned.
Police said the truck was carrying about 3,500 gallons of chocolate held at the temperature of 120 degrees, which meant it would stay in liquid form.
No one was injured in the wreck.
