Scattered showers and storms Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Scattered showers and storms for the day. On Thursday pockets of moderate showers through the morning commute. Temperatures will cool to the lower 70s and upper 60s this morning and will hold steady in the upper 60s and lower 70s through the remainder of the day. 

Scattered showers and storms are possible Thursday afternoon with some turning stronger this evening. Main concerns will be damaging winds, hail and spin up a tornado. After the cold front sweep through late Thursday night, lows will cool through the lower 50s and upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies.

Friday will be a drier and cooler day with highs in the lower 60s and upper 50s. We should wrap the work week with a few rays of sunshine.

This weekend has a few shower chances for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, we could see a few afternoon showers with highs in the mid-60s. The Grand Prix could see a few showers for right now. Showers will stick around for Mother’s Day morning with highs in the lower 60s.

A few lingering showers Monday with highs warming to the upper 60s with a drier day Tuesday. Highs will warm to the lower 70s with a return of showers midweek.
