Scattered showers and storms tonight

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — If you’re going to be out Sunday evening, grab the umbrella.

Look for mostly cloudy skies and the chance for showers. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible, with temperatures falling back into the lower 70s.

Some of the showers we see across the state may produce heavy rainfall in spots. We’ll get a break around midnight, then a few more showers may pop before daybreak.

Monday will start out mostly cloudy with a few light showers or sprinkles.

Much of the rain is gone shortly after lunchtime and skies begin to clear.

We’ll see some sunshine to end the afternoon/evening with highs in the lower 70s.

It’s going to be cooler, less humid and breezy. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10-20 mph.

On Tuesday, an area of high pressure builds across the state. Look for a cool start Tuesday morning with lows in the lower 50s. Mostly sunny skies continue for the rest of the day with highs in the middle to upper 70s.

A few light showers may pop up late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.

Cooler temperatures head this way for Thursday. Highs stay in the upper 60s for Thursday afternoon. Our normal high for this time of year is 80.

Temperatures slowly begin to rise closer to normal for Father’s Day weekend. Right now it looks like there’s a slight chance for a few showers Saturday but it dries out for the end of the weekend.
