Scattered storms expected Tuesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Mild and quiet start to the morning with a mostly cloudy sky. A few isolated showers possible Tuesday morning and through the early half of the afternoon.

Highs Tuesday will warm to the upper 60s and lower 70s. Better chance of showers this afternoon and evening with a slight chance of a stronger storm in western Indiana. Main threats will be minor flooding, hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado. Storms should wrap up close to midnight with lows staying warm in the lower 60s.

Indianapolis (WISH) 

Wednesday will be another day with scattered shower and storm chances with some turning stronger.  There will be a marginal Risk throughout the whole state. Highs will warm to the mid-70s! 
Thursday looks to be the wettest day of the week with rain and thunderstorms through the day. 

There is the possibility of stronger storms. A marginal risk from Indy and points south through the day. Highs will cool to the lower 70s. Rain accumulation looks hefty with most locations picking up an additional 1-2” of water.

Drier weather by the end of the week with highs in the upper 60s. Some sun possible for the day on Friday. Showers make a quick comeback Saturday with scattered showers through the morning and afternoon. Highs will still stick to near seasonal. Dry and comfy Sunday with highs in the lower 70s with a mostly sunny sky. Next week starts unsettled once again with a daily shower or storm chance through Tuesday with highs in the lower 70s and upper 60s.
