Scattered storms return this afternoon

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few showers Wednesday morning with temperatures in the lower 70s to start to the morning. We will see dry time for today with a few rays of sunshine through the early half of the afternoon. Highs will warm to the lower 80s. Scattered storms will fire up later this afternoon with some turning a bit stronger. A slight risk of severe storms developing by dinner time with the main threats being large hail, damaging winds and minor flooding. Storms will move out by midnight with lows falling to the lower 70s. 

Indianapolis (WISH) 

Thursday will be a quiet and mostly cloudy start. Highs still running warm with most spots in the lower to mid-80s. Few rays of sunshine are possible for the afternoon. Friday will be another quiet day with highs in the 80s with a partly cloudy sky. 

Next chance for rain arrives on Saturday with a few scattered storms possible late in the day on Saturday. Highs are expected to warm to the lower mid 80s. Better chance of scattered storms Sunday with highs cooling to the lower 80s. 

Monday there could be a few lingering morning showers but much of the afternoon should stay dry. A little cooler than normal through a next week with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
