Scattered strong storms possible tonight

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Strong to severe storms are possible late tonight.

TONIGHT: There is a slight severe threat for this evening and tonight as a line of storms pushes through the state later this evening.

The best chance for rain approaching the central region will be just around midnight.

The main threat with these storms will be damaging wind and hail.

The overnight low will be 72°.

TOMORROW: The rain should move out of the area by the morning for your commute to school and work. Sunny and warm to start the day out tomorrow with temperatures in the mid 70s by 8 AM.

Highs will be back to normal and even below average in some areas with mid to low 80s.

A marginal severe threat is in place for all of the state with gusty winds and hail as the main concern. Scattered storms chances will be around all day but the best chance for rain will be in the evening hours.

WEDNESDAY; Rain chances go down as Wednesday arrives with partly cloudy skies for most of the day and a high of 83°. An isolated storm could form in the afternoon with daytime heating. The low will be in the mid 60s.

8-DAY FORECAST: Warmer temperatures return for the second half of the work week with a high of 86° on Thursday and Friday.

Storm chances will return once again for the weekend with the best chance of rain returning Saturday.

Lower 80s for the rest of the weekend with a dry start to your work week.
