Scott County Community Outreach Center set to close Thursday

SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — The Community Outreach Center set up in Scott County to help with the state’s largest outbreak of HIV is set to close tomorrow. The center provided a place for people to get tested, treatment and exchange needles.

Last week, Scott County’s Health Nurse said they were working to find another location for the one stop shop services. As of June 24, that location hasn’t been announced.

The outbreak now stands at 170 cases.
