Search of residence results in drug arrests
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Two people were arrested as the result of a search of a residence.
A search warrant was carried out a house in the 1900 block of West Miller Street,ending in the arrests of 46-year-old Richard Gammon and 33-year-old Natishia Stephens.
After receiving information about the possible selling of narcotics and several weeks of investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the residence in question.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, while carrying out the warrant, both Gammon and Stephens were located inside the house along with 28 grams of heroin, $3,800 in cash, seven guns, and pill bottles with an unknown substance in sealed plastic bags.
Gammon faces preliminary charges for dealing in a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug, and maintaining a common nuisance. Stephens has been preliminary charged with possession of a narcotic drug, visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.
