Semi trailer accident closes I-65 during holiday travel
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana State Police confirmed that an accident on I-65 at mile marker 88.9, near Franklin, shut down all southbound lanes of the interstate on Saturday morning.
According to officials, a semi was pulling a double load when one of the trailers flipped over.
Officials are encouraging motorists to seek an alternate route.
No information was available if there were injuries.
