Semi truck obliterates Michigan home after blowing tire
MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. (CNN) — A home in Michigan was destroyed after a semi crashed into it Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities said an 18-wheeler went out of control when a tire bew around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.
It swerved across the road, hit a truck and then crashed into the home in Macomb Township. The house was essentially obliterated.
Luckily, no one was home at the time.
The semi came to a stop in a cemetery behind the house. Several tombstones were damaged and the driver did suffer minor injuries.
Authorities said they don’t believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
