Shower chances tonight with a cooler week ahead

A cold front still marching its way across parts of the state will spark up garden variety showers and storms this evening and through the overnight. Low temperatures will fall to the lower 70s. 

Keep the umbrella handy for Monday morning  commute. Showers and a rumble of thunder are possible and will linger throughout much of the early half of the day. Highs to start off the work week wil soar to the upper 80s with high humidity. 

After the cold front passes much cooler and drier air settles in for much of the week with highs by mid week in the lower 80s with lots of sunshine!
