Showers move out for Friday afternoon

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Very soggy past 24 hours with locations on east and southeast Indiana picking up 1-2” of rain with isolated spots picking up just over 2”.

More rain for the start of the morning with the last batch of showers moving out mid-morning. Cloud cover will decrease making way for a beautiful afternoon. Highs will warm to the mid-60s this afternoon. Late Friday night skies will remain clear with lows falling into the lower 40s.

A split weekend ahead with shower chances increasing through the day on Saturday. The best chance for rain will occur through the afternoon and will remain light in nature. Highs will suffer and only warm to the upper 50s. Showers will move out early Sunday with a gradual decrease in sunshine and highs in the upper 50s.

 Next week will be a soggy and stormy one with daily chances of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will warm through the week to the mid-70s.
