Silver Alert canceled for man last seen in Evansville
UPDATE: Authorities on Thursday night canceled the Silver Alert issued for David Ross Sponseller.
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Authorities investigating the the disappearance of 78-year-old man have issued a statewide Silver Alert.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case of David Ross Sponseller, who is 5-feet-9 and 170 pounds with gray hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes at 1 p.m. Thursday in Evansville.
He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
