Silver Alert cancelled, Cumberland woman found alive and well

DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A missing Cumberland woman has been found alive and well.

21-year-old Kristyna Johns has been located in Dubois County.

Authorities said she was with two people she knew.

Johns had been staying in a group home in Cumberland with a mental health disability.

Authorities believed she was in danger as she had not received permission to leave.

The two people she was found with are currently being questioned.

The Cumberland Police Department is heading to Dubois County to bring her back to Cumberland. She is currently being held at the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities credit the statewide Silver Alert with helping locate Johns.
