Some assisted living residents to return home after storm damage relocation
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – After severe storms and high winds damaged an assisted living facility last week, some residents are set to return home Friday.
On June 15, a portion of the roof was ripped off Bethany Village Assisted Living, causing residents to be evacuated and relocated.
No injuries were reported and residents were safely moved to other American Senior Communities locations.
According to American Senior Communities, a portion of the the Bethany Village Assisted Living building was unaffected, which will allow approximately half the residents to return home Friday. A welcome home celebration is planned for the residents.
Renovations continue to other areas of the building with the goal of returning the remaining residents to their homes in a few weeks.
