Spill on I-465 north creates sticky mess
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A sticky situation was causing problems for drivers in the southbound lanes of Interstate 465 north on the city’s east side Thursday afternoon.
Indiana State Police said a 55-gallon drum of Elmer’s glue spilled on the interstate’s southbound lanes near East 56th Street and North Shadeland Avenue around 4:10 p.m.
Crews were working to clear the area, but delays were expected. The spill was cleared around 5 p.m.
