Startups set for Innovation Showcase

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — More than 20 Hoosier startups will Wednesday take part in the Venture Club of Indiana’s annual Innovation Showcase. The startups, which represent a variety of industries such as cybersecurity, life sciences and ag tech, will have a chance to pitch their ideas and win prizes totaling more than $20,000.

Twelve finalists will be chosen the morning of the showcase to participate in the pitch competition. Those startups will have four minutes to make their pitches during two sessions, with the winners being announced later in the afternoon.

“Coming out of the pandemic, which caused the Innovation Showcase to host a virtual event in 2020, everyone is ready to attend in person, make connections with investors and startup founders and, above all, meet the state’s most innovative companies with the potential to revolutionize their respective industries,” said Venture Club Chairperson Sandy Wilcox. “Our slate of competitors is from every corner of the state and include everything from cybersecurity and SaaS companies to life sciences and ag tech to hard tech and cause-driven companies. These companies truly represent the breadth and depth of technology and innovation in Indiana.”
