INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A few storms could contain gusty winds and large hail Tuesday afternoon.
Like much of the day, expect scattered showers to continue this evening. After Midnight, a few rumbles of thunder can’t be ruled out.
Overnight lows will hover around 70°
Cold front marching through the state, along with strong winds aloft will up our chances for severe weather, specifically Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening. Much of central Indiana is under a Slight Risk for severe storms. Damaging winds will be the primary concern, but large hail, along with an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
Outside of the severe weather threat, expect scattered showers and storms throughout the day on Tuesday.
Highs top out in the upper 80s.
Any leftover rain should be gone well before daybreak. The day be a cool one, with mostly cloudy conditions. Highs will struggle to reach the upper 60s.
The rest of the work week looks beautiful, with highs in the lower to middle 70s through Friday. The weekend looks a touch warmer, with only a slight chance for showers, Sunday.
