Study looks at exercise in coronavirus patients
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There’s a new study connecting your physical activity with a better chance of avoiding a potentially deadly side effect of COVID-19.
WISH-TV’s medical reporter, Dr. Mary Gillis, D. Ed., was on Daybreak Monday to discuss those findings.
A team of researchers from the University of Virginia School of Medicine published a report indicating exercise can prevent or at least reduce what’s called “Acute Respiratory Distress” syndrome in coronavirus patients.
