Summer Mocktail Recipes
Cool, refreshing mocktail recipes made with the fruits of summer. Mmm. That’s exactly what we need on a warm mid-summer day!
Michelle Dudash, RDN, Registered Dietitian, Chef and Author of Clean Eating for Busy Families, shares some yummy summer mocktail recipes.
1. Lime-Basil Watermelon Juice
Muddle chunks of watermelon with fresh basil leaves and squeeze in half of a juicy, fresh lime.
2. Use a muddler tool to press and twist the ingredients to extract the juices and oils.
No blender or syrupy mixers needed. Creates an icy cold refreshing lower-cal drink that helps you get your fruit servings. If you don’t have a muddler, use the back of a spoon, end of a wooden spoon, or a small ladle.
3. Coconut Water and Strawberry Refresher
Muddle strawberries and fresh mint and fill with coconut water and lime sparkling water.
