Sunshine returns today; big warm ahead this week

Saturday morning forecast

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Clouds will gradually break Sunday afternoon, making for a pleasant end to the weekend.

Sunday:

Drier air will settle in behind Saturday’s cold front. Clouds should slowly decrease across the area, making for a mostly sunny afternoon, with near normal highs. Temperatures should reach the upper 50s and lower 60s later Sunday.

Sunday Night:

Conditions will be clear, quiet and cool overnight, with temperatures falling to the middle 40s.

Monday:

A warm front will move through the state, which will spark a big warm-up across the area. Look for temperatures to surge into the upper 60s and lower 70s Monday afternoon.

8-Day Forecast:

An active weather pattern with several disturbances will move through starting Tuesday, with showers and storms likely across the area. Isolated to scattered showers will also be possible Wednesday and Thursday. Much cooler temperatures will move in starting Thursday, and by Friday many areas won’t make it out of the 40s. We look to stay below average temperature wise heading into Easter weekend.
