Suspect apprehended, children safe after vehicle stolen in Speedway

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – Police have identified the suspect who stole a vehicle Sunday evening with two young children inside.

Police arrested 29-year-old Allen Dryden after he stole the vehicle in Indianapolis and was arrested in Speedway just before 10 p.m.

They were looking for a 2005 grey Toyota Camry with an Indiana license plate. However, a short time later police said the car was located, the suspect was apprehended and that the two-year-old and five-year-old were reported to be safe.
