Suspects rob Whitestown Cracker Barrel at gunpoint
WHITESTOWN, Ind. (WISH) – A Cracker Barrel was robbed at gunpoint late Sunday night. The robbery happened around 11:45 p.m.
Police are searching for two suspects in the robbery, a man and a woman.
Police said no one was hurt but the robbery was “very brazen.”
Police said early Monday morning officers were patrolling businesses in the area of I-65 and Whitestown Parkway, looking for suspicious activity related to the robbery.
They said while patrolling the Whitestown Marathon station, an officer found a vehicle and suspect that matched the description of another unrelated robbery that happened at the Circle K gas station in Tippecanoe County.
The officer tried to stop the driver, but the driver refused to stop and fled for several miles and then passed through Whitestown and Lebanon as well as Sheridan and Hamilton County.
Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts are asked to call the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
