Tattoo parlor gives tattoo-loving girl battling cancer the ‘BEST’ day
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A tattoo parlor did away with their “No Kids Allowed” policy for one day to put a smile on a Tampa girl’s face.
Trinity, 3, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare type of childhood cancer last year. Little Trinity also has Horner’s syndrome and Harliquine syndrome and has undergone surgery, rounds of Chemotherapy, and a number of biopsies and scans.
“Cancer has taken and continues to take so much from Trinity and our family, so we try to think outside of the box to come up with super fun, once in a lifetime things to do, see, or go to,” her mother said on Facebook.
Trinity “loves” her father’s tattoos, so her mother called the folks at Ink Wolves Tattoo in Tampa and made a special request, asking them to give her daughters some tattoos of her own. They would be temporary, of course.
The mother says two artists came in on their day off “tattooed” the 3-year-old on both arms and legs with a colorful Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Tinker Bell, My Little Pony and other fun designs.
“Ink Wolves took it upon themselves to get Tattoo markers, practice with them, have 2 artists come in on their day off, have snacks, and even jam out to Disney music for over 4 hours with a 3-year-old who is fighting cancer, all while making sure Trinity had the BEST day!” Trinity’s mother said.
