Temps and rain chances rise as we head into October
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Good Sunday evening, everyone! We’ve seen a great weekend, the last of September. With more sunshine today, high temps managed to top out in the low 80s in many areas.
Temps will slowly sink into the mid 60s by midnight with a mix of clear skies and clouds.
Temperatures will eventually bottom out in the upper 50s and low 60s, a calm and comfy Monday commute, weather wise.
We’ll see a few clouds building in by tomorrow afternoon.
High temps will climb into the low 80s, just about 10° above average.
Rain and storm chances will start to ramp up Tuesday with high temps in the low 80s.
The best rain chances will move in through the afternoon and evening hours.
Even with several rain chances the next several days, temperatures will not budge.
We’ll see highs in the low to mid 80s the next 8 days, 5-15° above normal.
While not everyone will need the rain gear this week, you would be wise to keep it handy with scattered storm chances in place more often than not.
