The CW will introduce Batwoman in next superhero crossover

(WISH) — A new superhero will be coming to primetime this fall.

“Arrow” star Stephen Amell made the announcement at The CW’s upfront presentation on Thursday.

“We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be doing another crossover event this fall on The CW, and we’ll be introducing a new character,” Amell shared at the presentation. “We’ll be fighting alongside Batwoman.”

The CW also announced that they will be expanding in October by adding programming on Sunday nights.

“It is such an exciting time at The CW. We are thriving, innovating, and now we’re expanding, adding Sunday nights to our primetime lineup this fall. Starting in October, we will have 12 hours of original scripted series on our schedule – more than any other broadcast network besides CBS,” said Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW.

Other new shows for fall include a reboot of “Charmed.” The world of “The Vampire Diaries,” and “The Originals” will return in the spinoff “Legacies.” Brand new show “All American,” a high school football drama, will also join the line-up this fall.

Fan favorites “Supergirl,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Black Lightning,” “Riverdale,” “Supernatural,” “Dynasty,” and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” will all return in the fall.

Award-winning “Jane The Virgin” returns in mid-season for its final season, along with a new season of “The 100” and the final season of “iZombie.” New series “In The Dark” and “Roswell, New Mexico” will debut in mid-season.

Viewers in central Indiana can watch all of this on WISH-TV.
