#TheZone8 banner finalists get creative
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – Carmel and Brownsburg high schools have been competing all season for The Zone banner, which is awarded annually to the school that shows the most school spirit throughout the football season.
Brownsburg featured Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart, pitcher Drew Storen and Boston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward in a video explaining why they deserve the banner. They also took advantage of Thanksgiving to make a Zone-themed turkey.
Carmel High School used Pacers mascot Boomer and a play on the dating app Tinder.
The winner will be announced at 11:08 p.m. Friday on WISH-TV.
