3 Hoosier companies among Fortune’s ‘World’s Most Admired’
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Three Indiana companies have earned a spot on Fortune’s annual list of the “World’s Most Admired Companies.”
Steel fabricator Steel Dynamics Inc. represented Fort Wayne on the list alongside Indianapolis-based health insurance provider Anthem Inc. and mall operator Simon Property Group Inc.

Fortune created the list using data from a survey that evaluates corporate reputation based on nine key attributes. The companies were scored on perceived and demonstrated innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
