Thursday’s business headlines

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Here’s a look at Thursday’s business headlines with Jane King.

FCA Wellness Center

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, along with FIAT Chrysler’s head of manufacturing for North America and St. Vincent Indiana’s executive officer, will dedicate the FCA Family Health and Wellness Center in Kokomo.

The physician-led primary care clinic will exclusively service FCA employees and their families.

Facebook trouble

It’s shaping up to be a “black Thursday” for Facebook.

Facebook shares are plummeting as recent controversies over privacy are hurting the company.

After hours, Facebook stock lost $130 billion.

Meanwhile, an NYU professor says Facebook should pay extra taxes for making us less productive.

Alzheimer drugs

Biogen’s Alzheimers drugs slowed the disease by 30 percent.

While not “shock and awe,” it is encouraging.

The drug worked on early stages of the disease and is one of the most promising treatments in research that has been littered with failure.

St. Elmo’s

Indy’s St. Elmo’s steakhouse has received another award.

Thrillest has named it one of the best steakhouses in America.

It praises the famous shrimp cocktail, of course, but also the broiled cowboy ribeye.
